Arching stems end with bright sky blue flowers which open up in springs warm sunshine and continue to bloom through June and July.  Perennial flax is able to handle the heat of southern summers. 'Sapphire's' compact habit allows it to be an excellent garden plant.  Showy flowers that will naturalize.
