A graceful evergreen shrub that produces new foliage in shades of green, pink, copper and white. Leaves turn a plum-purple in the winter. A woodland native that thrives along creek banks or massed in front of shrub borders. Prefers full to partial shade. Produces drooping clusters of fragrant white flowers in May.
