Athyriumm niponicum 'Applecourt' is easily grown in full or part shade with rich, well drained soil. The fronds are silver in the spring eventually growing greener as the summer approaches. 'Applecourt' has a magnificent maroon vein through the middle carrying the unmistakable crested pinnae.
