'Dr. Henry Schroeder' is an evergreen azalea with and open, spreading, upright habit that has oval, dark green foliage and produces clusters of single, purplish-pink, 2 1/2" flowers in April. Prefers well drained, slightly acidic soil and afternoon shade. Use as a specimen, in mass plantings or in a woodland garden.
